Welcome, New Member!

We're happy you’re here. We know that new Amerigroup members have questions. We’re here to help you make the most of your benefits. The following tips will help you get started with your new health plan.

Look for Your Member ID Card

You should have received your Amerigroup member ID card in the mail. You’ll use it when you visit the doctor, or--if you have coverage--for prescriptions.

By creating your secure member account, you can:

To create your account, you’ll just need your member ID number (shown on your ID card), your birth date, and your ZIP code.

For Medicaid or Other State-Sponsored Program Members

Navigate to your state’s Medicaid page. Then register for an account!

Access Your Account Using the Mobile App

With the mobile app, you can access your account wherever you are, access your ID card and manage your health plan. Available for iOS and Android.

Make an Appointment with Your PCP

Your main doctor is called a primary care provider, or PCP. Your PCP is listed on your ID card and in your online account.

We recommend making an appointment with your PCP as soon as you can. Scheduling a checkup now will help your PCP learn about your medical history and your current health before any issues occur.
